POETicARTISTry...a gathering of life's bouquet of fragrant graces...captured in a stream of writings, inspirations, paintings and such...i am Artist, Teacher, Mommie, Writer...and if i had to do it all again..i would...do so... afloat a LeafySeaDragon ...and having a conversation with a Whale i would most definitely wear my wedding dress with a strand of ForgetMeNots attached...for in the end it shall all be about Love....this ARTfulFairyTale.

Live for awhile in the books you love. Learn from them what is worth learning, but above all love them. This love will be returned to you a thousand times over. Whatever your life may become, these books — of this I am certain — will weave through the web of your unfolding. They will be among the strongest of all threads of your experiences, disappointments, and joys. Rilke, Viareggio, April 5, 1903, Letters to a Young Poet

“If happiness is the absence of fever then I will never know happiness. For I am possessed by a fever for knowledge, experience and creation.” — Anaïs Nin (via corona-borealis)

“The greatest thing a human soul ever does in the world is to see something and tell what he [or she] saw in a plain way. Hundreds of people can talk for one who can think, and thousands can think for one who can see. To see clearly is poetry, prophecy, and religion all in one.”

—John Ruskin

"Grace...an attractively polite manner of behaving."

Greyfreth White Cross Bottles

I have recently fallen in love...
with something so sparklingly beautiful
and I just can't help but share...
Etheral Cross Bottles
Crystal Topiaries and Wreaths
by Isabeau Grey

Framed out in heavy, organically sculpted, weathered solder, a fiery cross of leaded crystal catches and refracts an amazing amount of light
Beautiful crosses of crystal
atop mercury glass apothecary bottles from the 1800s,
antique leather decanters from Spain,
and unearthed bottles over a century old

Dark, rustic and weathered patina
forever bind an intricately carved
Medieval style cross of pewter

I love them all but if I
must choose I choose these
Medieval Style Crosses of Pewter.
And I think I shall get one...
or maybe two.
Visit
 and choose one for your
window sill and watch
it's crystal loveliness sparkle!

Note...picture descriptions are from Greyfreth White Cross Bottles website.

  3. Good morning dear heart!

Thank you for visiting via Etsy AND my blog post. Yes indeed my dear, I gave up drawing when I was about 13. Then just last year, LISA came into my life through blogging with SPECIFICS about what I should do with my art. It has been challenging, but I cannot thank her or ANY OF YOU enough for what this blogging community has done to help pry open my door. May you soar like a fabulous bird towards your destiny! I see my BEST FRIEND IRINA has been here, finally. You are perfect for her......Anita
